The Pioneer DJ Search 2009 winner DJ Playmate announced Live this morning.
Pioneer undoubtedly now have the Hottest DJ line up in the World. DJ Playmate, Helena, Emily Scott, Keli Hart, Jody McLeod and waiting at the door is ‘Hi profile Celebrity ‘ Ruby Rose partnering up with Grant Smillie (Not a She DJ)
Since July 1, 2009 Pioneer DJ in conjunction with myDJspace commenced a country-wide search for Australia’s hottest undiscovered DJ talent.
With a 12 month Pioneer DJ Ambassador Agreement, world class DJ rig, national media coverage, along with a major national and international gig on offer, Pioneer’s 2009 Pro DJ Search unearthed the strongest line-up of Bedroom DJ talent this competition has ever seen.
With the introduction of peer-voting and unconstrained playlists, this year’s Pro DJ Search attracted the highest amount of entries, including three times more mixes uploaded by entrants.
After two months of fierce but friendly competition, eleven finalists were announced, as voted by the punters.
Over the last two weeks, Pioneer DJ has been faced with tough task of determining the 2009 Pro DJ Search winner.
However, there can only be one winner and Pioneer DJ is excited to announce that finalist DJ Playmate is the 2009 Pro DJ Search winner. “DJ Playmate will be a fantastic addition to the Pioneer DJ brand and joins the likes of Grant Smillie, Stafford Brothers, Roger Sanchez, Axwell, Emily Scott, J Red, Keli Hart, Helena, Eric Powell, Mark James, Jody McLeod and many more as a Pioneer DJ Ambassador,” says Collee Chappell, head of Pro DJ marketing at Pioneer Electronics Australia.

Latest She DJ to join the very select group is Emily Scott. She joins the existing SHE DJ’s Keli, Helena & Jody. Pioneer SHE DJ are world Class in every sense.
with the launch of the new Pioneer products on the horizon Pioneer has successfully stirred the rumor mills in to full effect.
First was Pioneers wonder boy James Zabiela who in a recent video apparently let slip with a little too much about Pioneer new product. Maybe he was “on drugs”, not according to James Z himself on a recent discussion at skratchworx.com, “For the record I’ve never touched drugs in my life!”
